ACT Policing arrested a Nicholls man last night (Thursday 27 January) for trafficking in a controlled substance.
Acting on information received, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle which had recently attended a Nicholls residence. A search of the vehicle found a white coloured powder, suspected to be Heroin.
A search warrant was then conducted on the Nicholls home where police located and seized an amount of white powder suspected to be heroin.
A man was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning charged with trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis.

You might want to proof read your own work before you critique the work of others.
Martlark’s typo aside, it is a bit embarassing to see these police statements constantly mangle the English language. If they can’t write a simple sentence then it is no wonder the Mullys of the world lead them a merry dance.

Fair point about some of the quality of work in some police media releases (typos, poor structure etc), but 1) it isn’t a police statement (it’s a media release – big, big difference); and 2) The media team aren’t out catching crooks (like Mully) because they are in the media team.
BTW Williams didn’t lead anyone on a ‘merry dance’. He was constantly before the courts during his short pathetic life.
