The second tournament of Adventure Paintball’s inaugural paintball series was held last Sunday 9 Jul with over 40 players battling it out for cash, prizes and bragging rights. When the dust settled it was another victory to the ‘Copperhead’ Y fronts.

A beautiful crisp day and paintball for a lucky few! Last Sunday, 9 Jul, the second round of the Adventure Paintball paintball team series was held. The format this time was 5 man, bigger field, more barricades and heaps faster than 3 man. After an early technical glitch, paint started flying at 11am with 8 teams vying for glory. The top teams were expected to come from TiTs, Y fronts, or the two Notorious teams with Filth expected to knock off the top teams if they dropped their guard.

Notorious had been training hard and expected to have an easy run. This notion was smashed when they got hammered by Y fronts in the first round. Two rounds were played and with teams playing each other again you could see the improvement in some of the first timers and some upsets as teams mixed their strategy. One of the first time teams, Mocca, trashed the early leaders Tits, who decided to try a new strategy mid game got taken out 5-0 for a total whitewash!

When the dust settled, Y fronts had prevailed after Tits dropped some of the late rounds, with Notorious Red coming 3rd.

Next Round: Round 3 (5 man) will be Sep 10 to allow for the ‘Act of War’ in Sydney on 27 August.

Rd 4 (late Oct) will be run as 2 divisions with pro or experienced teams running in an Open 3 man division and the Novice teams running as 5 man. Personal markers will be allowed for the Open teams.
