Pair hold up Narrabundah post office in broad daylight

Two men held up the Narrabundah newsagent/post office on Monday morning with an edged weapon, stealing cash, a mobile and a wallet.

Police are seeking witnesses to the aggravated robbery in Iluka Street, Narrabundah.

The two men entered the store at around 9.50am and approached the counter, produced an edged weapon and threatened the staff. The men removed a sum of cash and a victim’s mobile phone and wallet.

The pair then fled the scene in a white Mazda 121 hatchback displaying yellow registration plates.

The first male is described as Caucasian in appearance and of slim build. He was wearing a yellow fluorescent shirt, long dark coloured pants, a black balaclava and was carrying a backpack.

The second male is described as medium build. He was wearing a blue and black checkered shirt, long dark coloured pants, grey gloves and blue Nike sneakers and a black balaclava.
