The ACT has recorded the tenth road fatality after an 84-year-old Hughes man was struck by a car in Phillip earlier today (Friday, November 2).
Around 10.10am, police were notified of a collision which occurred in the Magnet Mart car park on Hindmarsh Drive, Phillip. The man was walking through the car park when he was struck by the car.
The collision is being investigated by ACT Policing Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team.
Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
