Phillip gas leak

ACT Fire & Rescue are currently on scene at Parramatta Street, Phillip isolating a leak from a gas cylinder in a vehicle.

Crews were alerted following an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call at 6.12pm when the driver and passenger smelt gas from the cylinder under the station wagon.

Two fire pumpers are on scene with the specialist Breathing Apparatus van and a Command vehicle.

Firefighters wearing Breathing Apparatus are isolating the leak.

No injuries reported.

ACT Fire & Rescue crews have vented the gas cylinder.

Crews will depart the scene shortly.
