Today saw the Playgroups Assoc Games held at the Cook school. Looked from my side of things to be a great success with kids all over the place enjoying the activities.

Things to be done were mazes, jumping castle, parachute games, balancing games, hitting, catching, a babies play area inside and a bunch of other stuff.

Playgroups Assoc is great for parents. They are located at the Cook school and organise mums groups, a toy library and events like this one which are great fun. (disclaimer – I have no link to Playgroups Assoc.)

The event attracted Andrew Barr, WIN news, Mix 106 and the Chronicle so might see some wider media coverage than just RiotACT.

Not just mums groups – for all those stay-at-home-dads there is the Dads Together playgroup. This is held on Mondays between 10am to noon at the old Cook Primary.

Certainly lots of fun was had by the members of the Kirby household at Playgroup Games.
