Police execute warrants in fraud investigation

ACT Policing Criminal Investigations Fraud Detectives executed a number of search warrants yesterday (Thursday, May 29) seizing more than 50 items.

The warrants were executed in relation to the ongoing investigation into alleged fraud at the ACT Public Trustees Office.

More than 50 items were seized by Detectives, including electrical equipment such as TV’s, computers, mobile phones, GPS systems and game consoles.

Police also seized documents and items believed to be proceeds of crime.

The investigation is ongoing.
