Police seek witnesses to ram raid in Calwell

Police are seeking witnesses to an aggravated burglary at the Calwell Shopping Centre early on Friday.

Officers attended the Calwell Shopping Centre at about 5.45am after reports that two men in a silver Nissan Pulsar hatchback had intentionally collided with the Webber Crescent entry to the centre, causing significant damage.

The offenders then forced their way into Woolworths and later fled in the vehicle.

At about 6.30am, the vehicle suspected to have been involved in the offence was located by police in Calwell. Investigations are continuing.

Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anything suspicious in Calwell or Theodore, or who can help identify the offenders involved, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via https://act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
