1. The official announcement about the alleged World of Warcraft stabbing in Gungahlin is now available:

A 21-year-old Gungahlin man is assisting ACT Policing with their enquiries in relation to an alleged stabbing at a residence in Gungahlin overnight (October 27).

About 10pm, police were notified of a disturbance at the residence. Upon arrival officers observed a male victim who was suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim, a 21-year-old man also of Gungahlin was transported by ACT Ambulance to The Canberra Hospital where he will undergo surgery today.

The 21-year-old man was arrested and conveyed to the Regional Watch House where he is assisting detectives with their investigation.

2. And it sounds as if there’s been a nasty mix up on the subject of fare splitting:

ACT Policing is investigating the assault of a 31-year-old male in Wanniassa around 3.30am on Saturday (October 25).

The victim was assaulted by an unknown male after sharing a taxi ride with a group of people to the Tuggeranong area from a Manuka taxi rank.

After arriving in Wanniassa the victim offered money towards the fare, the offender, a passenger in the taxi, exited the vehicle and proceeded to assault the victim.

The victim was conveyed to hospital where he is currently being treated for multiple fractures to his skull and nerve damage.

The offender is described as Islander in appearance and was travelling with three female companions.

3. Tyres deflated!

ACT Policing has arrested a 25-year-old Page woman and a 21-year-old Queanbeyan man in Chisholm this afternoon (October 29).

Police received reports this morning from members of the public regarding a man and a woman acting suspiciously in Erindale. With the description of the pair and other information received earlier, police were led to a Chisholm address.

About 2pm officers from Property Crime and Special Response and Security (SRS) attended the Wolstenholme Street residence to conduct a search warrant. Prior to officers knocking on the door a man attempted to leave the house in a vehicle recorded as stolen and rammed a stationary police car.

Police used a tyre deflation device to stop the vehicle and arrested the man. As a result of the collision the man is being treated at the Canberra Hospital for minor injuries. The woman was taken into custody from the residence.

Seriously…where do these f**king idiots come from? Can we round them up and fire them off into space. I wouldn’t bitch if my tax payer money went towards that.

Now I’m just waiting for Jim Jones’ contribution, defending these w**kers. Should be interesting. I’m waiting with baited breath!
