Great story. This toerag was caught because people on the spot chased him and somebody else took down his rego number. Surprise, surprise, he is a serial offender who went to Stuart Flats to buy drugs but didn’t have enough money, so he thought he’d get some cash by terrorising this poor woman at the nearby shops.

Just shows what a difference it makes if people get involved if they see something bad happening.

Stuart Flats are Crime Central – lots of cabbies won’t go there or pick up there. Recently, a neighbour had his car stolen from his carport, and after a few days of no news, he drove around SF (we live in an adjacent suburb) – and there it was!

The lowlife whose fingerprints were all over it, and who protested his innocence loudly and at length, was just one of the residents of this cesspit with a long criminal record. Since it is ‘only’ a ‘minor’ property crime, apparently he is not likely to go to jail – again.

I feel for the decent people who live there.
