This in from Questacon which we thought would be of interest to some of you:

Travelling to the south coast over Easter?

The Questacon Invention Convention is a three-day program that visits regional areas across Australia and provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to develop their ideas further.

The Questacon Invention Convention is a great opportunity for innovative young Australians aged 14-18 to meet other like-minded people, make some cool stuff, get advice, find out how to further develop their ideas and have a lot of fun along the way.

This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the innovation process and allow them to tinker away at their ideas using a variety of old and new technologies and tools.

The Questacon Invention Convention will take place in Bega from 11 to 13 April 2012 and Batemans Bay from 17 to 19 April 2012. Each of the three days will run from 9am to 4.30pm and lunch will be provided. A $30.00 registration fee will apply.

Applications close 30 March 2012.
