A young Canberran with multiple disabilities is seeking to achieve a successful career in the sport of figure skating. To help raise funds to support this dream, a Quiz Night will be held at the Phillip Canberra Southern Cross Club from 7.00pm on 18 June.

Joshua Gordon has risen above the challenges which he faces as a young man with autism, intellectual impairment and epilepsy to become a talented skater – he is keen to make a career of his talent and is determined not to rely on a pension for his income. He has his mother as a role model, a woman with severe disability who, despite being confined to a wheelchair, works tirelessly to support her son’s dreams.

Masters of Ceremony, Lachlan Kennedy and Erin Molan of WIN TV, will be joined by Quiz Master Steve Doszpot MLA in hosting a fun night with plenty of prizes as they raise funds for this worthy cause.

To find out more or to make a booking at only $25 per person, please call Kate on 6205 0131.
