Rafe Morris has announced he is putting on a show to launch his new CD “Live on Air” with his new band “The Well Dressed”.

Featuring Rafe, Bec Taylor, Zach Raffan, Nicola Menser Hearn, Catherine Keely and Nick Peddle the band is something of a local super group.

This from the media release about the show:

Rafe Morris and his band The Well Dressed team up with comedian Kale Bogdanovs to entertain the pants off the Street Theatre with their debut show In Song And Story.

Rafe said the two performers have been looking for an opportunity to collaborate for some time but finding a format where their styles of spoken word and music could work together has thus far proven elusive.

“I’ve always loved Kale’s way with words and have always wanted to perform with him, so I gave him a bunch of my songs and asked him to write and recite stories as a way to introduce the songs,” said Rafe.

“I’m used to talking rubbish between songs, so the format requiring me being silent and having someone read short stories as a way of introducing the songs is new and challenging for me,”
