ACT Policing has released a facefit of the offender involved in an indecent assault in Chisholm on Saturday May 11.
About 5.30pm the victim, a 27-year-old woman, was walking across the Chisholm District Playing Fields towards Isabella Drive when she was grabbed by a man from behind.
A struggle ensued with both falling to the ground and the man straddling the victim. The victim continued to struggle, punching and kicking the man before breaking free and running away.
The offender was last seen running in the direction of Proctor Street, Chisholm.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his early-to-mid 20s, approximately 5’9” tall (175cm) with a slim build and short, dark-coloured hair with curls.
He was wearing long pants, possibly tracksuit pants, and a dark-coloured plain jumper.
Police are also seeking any information regarding a male exposing himself at Fadden Pines, about 5.15pm on the same date. This male is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20s, of slim build and dark-coloured hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt.
Police are urging anyone with information which can assist in identifying the man or have any information regarding the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
