“We built this city” is giving kids the chance to prove they could do a better job than Walt by providing them with 5000 boxes and telling them to build the city of their dreams.
The ongoing project will be running until Saturday, so if you get the chance head down to Civic Square and explore a little. I ducked in this afternoon to have a peek, take some photos, and try and find all the secret caves.
It was pretty radical.
Is this a free thing?
At least sim city still works when its raining outside
It’s all well and good if you like living in a cave. I bet the whole thing will eventually end up in a recycling plant, not one politician will take a single bit of this to their campaign and all the money spent driving the kiddies to and from this waste of space will contribute extensively to our carbon footprint.
Did you pay the $10.00 entry fee Joel? I can think of better ways to spend $50 to keep my family entertained. That doesn’t include the premium parking fees adding another tenner to the day’s events. Honestly, you can feed a family of five for almost a week with that kind of dosh according to TV, and here we see it wasted to the always begging “Arts Community”.
Give us a break….
