REVOLVER needs you….

By 4 July, 2006 11

Well, not you, or you, but maybe you, and possibly you….

After a superb debut at the Phoenix playing their original material, REVOLVER have been asked back.

However, as the boys have been rather slack recently with their song writing they only have a bit over an hour of songs that are suitable for playing three piece on stage.

Which leads us to, which new original band out there wants to back us at the Phoenix on a date yet to be decided?

Contact is: revolver@incanberra.com.au

or just leave a post here….

Thanks

hey thumper try http://www.littlesmoke.com/justbands I reckon you will get a few bands jump at the opp.

Thanks AD, yeah, I didn’t think BOM would fit in there. But then again, we’re a simple little three piece….

Loadedogdude, what style are Ocean Moses?

We’re kind of three piece late 60s, early 70s, pop rock sort of stuff (I think…)

You’d be suprised how much gear you can squeeze onto that tiny stage, AD :-)
Our first gig there we had a half-stack for guitar, bass amp, decent sized kit, huge (about 2 metres long) keyboard, separate mixer and powered wedge for said keyboard and violin rig, pedalboards x 2 and 2 mics for vox. Plus 3 guitars, a bass and a violin.

We played with the REVOLVER guys a coupla months back and had a blast. The interprative dancer is a legend, too.
And

is a fairly accurate description.

Cheers!

Man thats chraos… I have played there in a four piece with basic guitar/bass/drums/vocalist setup and felt cramped for room. but then again I am a guy who likes to jump and twirl and prance across stage…

Anyone who remembers a full Phoenix incarnation of The Suspect Mushrooms will know just how much stuff you can fit in there…
