ACT Policing is investigating a collision this morning (Thursday, 14 April) in Hume involving a semi-trailer.

Around 7.20am, police responded to reports that a semi-trailer had been travelling along the Monaro Highway when it veered across both lanes and the median strip, colliding with a number of power poles and vehicles before coming to a stop.

The driver has been taken to The Canberra Hospital for treatment.

Since when is a rigid tipper considered a semi-trailer?

Since when is Hume “Fyshwick”?

Hume is quite a long way from Fyshwick. Theres at least one suburb in between those two.

I guess knocking off power poles woke the driver up.
