Carpe Diem’s exciting first event is titled Seize the Day Movement, developed in proud support of the Because I Am a Girl Campaign. Carpe Diem will be uniting Canberra’s finest performers & sports talents with the support of select interstate acts, for a one night special event. Seize the Day Movement will showcase talent, entertain and inspire, projecting the clear and empowering message to seize the day (Carpe Diem).
The time has come in our community that partnerships are needed in order to thrive and the event endeavors to raise $10,000 through the support of the community to donate towards the ‘Because I am a Girl Campaign’. One in every three girls around the world is denied an education. Every day, young girls are taken of school, forced into marriage and subjected to emotional, physical and psychological abuse. Together, we can ensure millions more girls get the education they are entitled to. Donations are needed to make a real difference to the lives of young girls from all around the world.
Tickets will be sold online and at the door. VIP guests will be served canapés and champagne upon arrival. Throughout the event we will be auctioning several items from our sponsors varying from gift sets to sports memorabilia.
We are currently seeking support from local businesses and donations to help make this an event a success and reach our target.
Carpe Diem endeavors that through collaboration with local businesses and our community to create ongoing support and exposure for business opportunities and stage talent for within our Capital.
