SERVICE ONE Members Banking is reminding people that they only have one month left to donate toys to their local Banardos branch in order to help disadvantaged kids this Christmas.

If you’ve got the means, please consider helping out some less fortunate Children this Christmas.

This is the sixth consecutive year SERVICE ONE is supporting Barnardos’ Gifts for Kids Appeal. The toy drive is designed to help make a difference for some of Australia’s most disadvantaged children this holiday season.

SERVICE ONE Chief Executive, Peter Carlin, emphasises the significance of the work that Barnardos does on a daily basis and acknowledges the difference it makes to children in need.

“The work done by Barnardos is integral to maintaining the welfare of disadvantaged children, and ensures that those children who might be at risk of abuse, neglect, homelessness, or poverty are given support and at this time of the year – a little bit of happiness.

“The toys will go a long way to bringing smiles and some holiday cheer to many of the disadvantaged children this Christmas, and it’s great to see Members and the wider community coming together to support the initiative,” Carlin said.

The Gifts for Kids initiative runs until the 18th of December. If you’d like to donate but can’t get to a branch you can purchase from the online store at www.somb.com.au.
