ABC Online has a story on Raymond Leslie Scott of Wanniassa’s recent appearance before the beak.

They say prostitution is the world’s oldest profession. In which case ripping off the patrons of prostitutes in the hope they’ll be too embarrassed to make a fuss must be a very close thing for second place.

The court heard the 39-year-old was wanted for crimes in the ACT, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.

It is alleged he stole the credit card details from clients of a Canberra brothel.

Scott applied for bail so he could spend time with his partner while she attended a drug rehabilitation program in Perth. Bail was refused.

Life on the other side of the tracks is just *so exciting*!

Wow, someone actually being remanded in custody for a change. The system works once in a while.

If he had asked to go to the drug rehabilitation program himself he would have been bailed and the ACT pick up the airfares and fees to send him there.
