Silver gun in a silver Mitsubishi Mirage

ACT Policing are calling for witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Chisholm earlier this morning (Wednesday, July 10).

Around 4.45am two men entered the residence of a man and woman in Chisholm. One of the men was allegedly armed with a silver handgun and assaulted the man before stealing property and a silver Mitsubishi Mirage. Vehicle is described as having a broken rear window and an ‘urban freestyle’ sticker.

One of offenders is believed to have driven off in another vehicle, while the other was driving the stolen Mitsubishi Silver Mirage.

The victim received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance.

One male offender is described as approximately 170cm tall (5’7”), bulky build, close cropped head with light coloured hair wearing a dark blue jumper with black tracksuit pants. The other male offender is described as having a dark shaven head and was wearing a dark blue hoodie.

Police are interested in speaking to any members of the public who may have seen persons acting suspiciously in the area or have seen the stolen vehicle.
