From The Eagle’s Nest we’re casting our beady eyes over the ranges of the Brindabellas and can see no sign of snow.
But the ABC has pictures of snow from surrounding parts of NSW so who are we to argue?
And to think the weather last week almost felt summery.
I automatically scanned the Brindies for snow when I drove to work this morning. But I only get a clear view of them for about 2 seconds, so wouldn’t surprise me if I missed some small patches. That is some decent snow for early April though. And looks like really cold and miserable weather. The wind down here seemed to come straight from the Antarctic this morning…
Friends took pics of snow on the ground at Jindabyne @ 5PM yesterday. It was below freezing there late Saturday night, too.
Does frost forming on roof tiles count?
Because believe you me there was some when I got up at 6:30am this morning.
Jumped on to BOM site to be told it was 1C, with a chill factor of -0.8C.
Had some ice form on top of the car in the driveway last night! Brrrrrrr!
Do you pay on the first date?
