What would the world be without memories? Why protect them in a UNESCO register?
Join us for an engaging discussion on the UNESCO Memory of the World Australian Register, with guest speaker Dr Roslyn Russell.
Dr Russell is a historian, writer and museum specialist, and the current Chair of the UNESCO Australian Memory of the World Committee.
The UNESCO Memory of the World Australian Register lists documentary heritage of significance to Australia. There are 50 items and collections on the Register, including five from the National Archives, which will be showcased by our Gallery Hosts following the talk.
Event is free, bookings recommended via our Eventbrite page: nationalarchivesofaustralia.eventbrite.com/
