Speed dating the sustainable way

ACT Landcare will hold the Landcare for Singles Tree Planting day at Jerrabomberra Wetlands on 4th May 2014.

If you’re on the lookout for that special someone, this event is a great opportunity to try a new and unique form of speed dating – Speed planting!

Join in and plant a new tree with a new partner every eight minutes. The speed planting session will be followed by a free BBQ lunch for all participants.

When: 4 May 2014 – 10:00am – 2:00pm

Where: Wetlands Centre, Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve, Dairy Road, Fyshwick – an extension of Newcastle Street. Look for the Greening Australia signs.

Jocelyn, how are you going to manage this venture into ACT Government getting involved in romance? How is that “partnering” going to be arranged so that it will include man & man pairs and woman & woman pairs? : )

Places still available for men and women in the Twenties and Thirties teams and places for men in the Forties Plus team. Further registrations for women in the Forties Plus team will be on a wait list. We will have up to 80 people on the day – ACT Landare!
