“Doug, if you want to play with the big dogs you have to learn to pee in the long grass.”
Ted Bighorn

The Fridge is a satirical tragi-comedy which revolves around a struggling young couple Doug and Florin. Doug loses his job, the rent is overdue and Florin’s grandmother, Olive is clocking up all manner of bills at her rest home in dodgy on-line scams. Doug eventually goes to the bank hoping for a loan but local bank manager and Florin’s ex-fiancé, Ted Bighorn, rejects the application. Doug’s luck changes when he is given a second-hand fridge which produces mysterious and valuable bright yellow metallic eggs which Doug hopes will solve all of their problems. Unfortunately the fridge with its golden eggs is not the end but the beginning of their problems as Doug is seduced by his new found wealth.
