Steve Doszpot's song: what was he thinking?!

Listen for yourself at:

If the aim was to create something that falls into that uncomfortable no-mans land between good and so bad it’s good, they have succeeded.

Add to this his slogan – ‘Doszpot for Topspot’ – and I think we might have a new low for sheer political excruciatingness. Speaking of which I wonder how ‘Z’ feels about that slogan?

It’s cringe worth but at least Top spot is trying to be different. I like politcans who can laugh at themselves like Gary Kent and Andrea Tokaji’s ‘Does size matter’ photo in this weeks City News.

spoke to steve earlier today, he is impressed that someone noticed it was removed from the site. he is happy Mike Welsh on 2CC is playing it.

great when marketing works….

Make one for the LDP encompassing how they always get caught in the trap of talking about child pornography and incest laws when they could talk about tax cuts and policies that people would actually like.

I thought they already had one:

Anyone who wants a song for this election please contact me.

I’ll whip up something in a few hours.

If this land was made for you and I, then god hates us. It’s falling apart.

Was ‘Doszpot for Despot’ too obvious?

Was ‘Doszpot for Despot’ too obvious?

I had a greenie friend tell me about this. I thought he was joking.

Shame he took it down before we all got the chance to have a good laugh… or cry.

they are embracing the electronic age. now, how about a few more doing the sim challenge?

steve might actually be good at it.

What is it with the songs this election??

And Facebook…lot of candidates wanting to be Facebook friends, even though we’ve never heard boo from them before…

Will this be known as the Songs and Facebook election?

Mike Welsh on 2CC plays it all the time.

Considering the deadwood presently representing us in Brindabella from both the Libs and Labs, hopefully, Doszpot and others can be elected.

pfft, wuss.

I think my campaign song would be ‘Here comes the Hot Steppa’ by Ini Kamozi. Reminds me of primary school disco’s.

Considering its only a typo away from “Doszpot for Tosspot” I applaud his courage.

mentioned this to a mate. oh, he knew. yes, it is close to the mark. well done, Steve, the IT industry will have a field day with this…

Steve took it down in the late hours of last night.

He used that slogan at the last election as well. He had one of the better results for the Liberal ‘also rans’.

Is the song meant to be playing automatically? I can’t hear it, nor can I find it.

Considering its only a typo away from “Doszpot for Tosspot” I applaud his courage.
