Steven Bailey bares his beliefs

By 3 September 2013 22

In the lead up to the election we’ve tried not to present any free advertising to any one candidate over another. Our candidate questionnaires are open to all candidates and we give equal attention to those who care enough to answer them.

Some candidates don’t get that attention but it’s their own fault for not making the effort to answer your questions

The point is we don’t want to spam you with ads coming from one Candidate. Well we don’t want to spam you with ads at all really.

However despite all that here’s a video Steven Bailey has made because it’s just too interesting not to post.

In the interest of fairness we promise to post any videos put forward by other candidates, assuming they too manage to take all their clothes off while not getting banned by YouTube.

You heard me.

Steven

OK – I admit it: I’m impressed. What a bloody shame that he’s a member of Katter’s team.

I seem to agree with most what this guy states/believes, which is a bit revelatory and not at all what I thought I knew about the Katter Party. Will be putting Mr Bailey first on my senate ticket.

That is the Rudolf Nureyev of hats.

People who have been to the Avedon exhibition will know what I mean…

In case anybody is wondering, I won’t be making a pre-election video this time. Last year in the ACT election when I urged voters via YouTube to put The Greens last it resulted in three losing their seats and Rattenbury only surviving by a handful of votes. I’ve thought about it, but the likely outcome in this election in the ACT will probably be the status quo so it would be largely pointless. I will, however, warn against voting for the Katter and Palmer parties as a conservative alternative to the Liberals because they are preferencing The Greens and Labor.

Rupert; Coles and Woolies; the Greens; boring, self interested politicians who blindly follow party lines; Cory Bernardi… I agree with most of what he is saying.

However, Katter and his band of agrarian socialists still make me slightly nervous. Mr Bailey might be worth a One, with preferences flowing to the Libs with Rise Up and the Greens plumbing the depths might just see Steven sneak in or at least get his money back.

WRONG, KEN THE VOTING DINGO!!!

Just encourage everyone to throw their how to vote cards in the bin and for Senate you can even make your own how to vote cards in advance so that you don’t get overwhelmed in the booth.

It’s good you’re showing restraint here, John. Such overwhelming influence as yours could be positively catastrophic if not used wisely.

You really should make a little more effort with your phrasing! :P

Stephen,

Thank you so much for being who you are and not shielding that from the electorate. I voted for you no 1 below the line and thought you should know given how long it takes for these votes to get counted.

Hope this goes viral. It would really make people think about their votes more.

I’ve already voted and put Bailey #1 for senate. Hope enough people do the same so he gets in. Unlikely but possible.

You’re just annoyed that someone else has put up a video featuring a semi-nude male and a cowboy hat, although I think that Steven Bailey’s is a lot classier than yours.

This, this would’ve been the perfect place for you to say:

“A word to the wise: don’t do it”

And curiosity would’ve overcome advice, and then your words of advice would’ve been rammed home with a pile driver.

As it is I’m left to find a hard bristle brush to clean my eyeballs.

Love your work Steven. If I wasn’t voting myself as Number 1 I’d vote for you!

Yeah, this is one reason I’m not watching anyone’s naked video. If he can’t be bothered just writing it down like a normal human, I don’t need to know about it.

A much better video than that of a certain guest of Ecuador.

I can’t vote for Katter’s Party, though, however creative the candidate may be.

What have you got against Bob Katter? Sure he is a bit out there and sure some of his views may not be too popular but you can say that about any politician. At the end of the day, Bob will speak his mind unlike anyone from Liberal or Labor and most of the Greens who just spit out party policy

You can Poetix. If you are more interested in reading the words than looking at the cover, you can.

Kind of agree, i thought he was crazier than he actually is. Same with Clive Palmer. Both of them have some good ideas that probably get shut down by the major. Both parties have only come up with policies to win the marginal seats and that’s the annoying thing right now. And for the devout liberal supporters out there who have successfully spread the fact that labor is crap. We’ll wait and see what happens in the next 3 years. I will not be surprised if the boats don’t stop, and we still have a carbon tax in 3 years. They’ve spent the time in opposition taking the government down, without any actual useful ideas on running the country. Tony Abbott is certainly far from being a genius in anything other than the art of being a politician.
