ABC Online brings the interesting news that Steven David Cousins has been released on bail because it would be such a very long time before the judiciary would actually hear the case.
Who is Steven you ask? Well he’s been charged with sexual intercourse without consent, holding the victim against her will and rendering her insensible.
At an earlier hearing at the Magistrates Court it was alleged the girl was beaten, shot full of drugs, and repeatedly raped.
His defence seems to be relying on the flaky nature of his alleged victim. Would that make it open season on all the flaky members of the community?
