1:25pm Friday 17 December 2010 – Hazard reduction burn tomorrow The ACT Rural Fire Service Rivers Brigade will be conducting a hazard reduction burn tomorrow, Saturday 18 December 2010 weather permitting.
The burn at the Rivers Brigade fire shed on Cotter Road, Stromlo is scheduled to commence from 12pm till 6pm.
Three tankers, one light unit and 20 personnel will conduct the burn.
The burn is to remove accumulated fuel as well as a training exercise and will be approximately two hectares in size.
