I would just like to offer my personal thanks to everybody who turned up to support our Art Show.

So far it looks like we may have raised $15,246.00, which is just outstanding!

Since a lot of this would have been commissions from the art works sold, I am thinking our artists must have done quite well out of it also. Fantastic!

If you are a talented, creative type person you may want to exhibit your work with us next year – just contact the school for details.

Well, I scored the most beautiful silver bracelet for $90 and some funky little earrings, although goodness knows I could have gone completely crazy.

Friday night was genuinely enjoyable for me and for the staff I have spoken with also.

Plus my daughter sold two paintings – one has been presented to the Department of Education, and another was purchased for $80 by Therapy ACT. So now we figure she can just sell paintings to raise money for her wheelchair!

*chuckle*
