ACT Policing has arrested a twenty-seven year old woman following a burglary that occurred in Chisholm on Tuesday 24 September.

It is alleged the offender smashed a window to gain entry to the premises.

The resident of the property returned home later that day to find a number of items had been removed including electronic goods and cash.

On Thursday 31 October police were conducting patrols in the Gungahlin area when they identified the offender walking around the Gungahlin Marketplace.

She was subsequently arrested on a warrant and taken to the ACT Watch House where she was charged with burglary and theft.

This woman had been a person of interest to ACT Policing since August this year.

She will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning in relation to this matter and a number of other charges.
