The CSIRO is letting people know they’ve got an exhibition running about “the textures and patterns of Black Mountain, a small yet diverse area of wilderness in the middle of Canberra City”.

The National Capital Authority has announced that Tarcoola Reach at Weston park is the only part of Lake Burley Griffin closed to swimming and other forms of primary contact.
A medium alert remains at East Basin, and Black Mountain Beach.

The ESA is warning that, while the spectacular burning on Black Mountain has now been completed, they’ve moved their attentions to the Googong Foreshores.
There will be smoke.
So, as usual, don’t panic.
