The Feldons are looking for a manager
Local originals three piece retro pop/rock/blues band The Feldons have decided that they are too lazy to hunt around for gigs themselves and instead would rather spend that time writing and recording new material. As such, they have put out an expression of interest for a manager to [...]

New to the berra. What are some good places?
I am used to the recreational drug taking, punk music listening generally ‘alternative’ crowd. Not interested in the usual go to the footy club and down schooners, or hit the clubs in civic. Looking for somewhere different. Ideas?

The bands featured are Load and Headvendormachine and there’s members of Retroflex jumping around in the crowd too. Garry Peadon of the Greenroom is also in there sporting [...]
As long as we are talking about the best and worst of things, how about bands? Any bands you love? Any you hate? Is the scene good or bad? Im sure a lot of us have a conflict of interest or two when it comes to this subject so if you are going to say [...]

Interested to hear people’s reaction to the Chaser’s “you’re a terrible audience” skit in their [Canberra] shows last weekend. I thought this was fairly typical Chaser fare, but someone at the show I was at was clearly offended and started yelling abuse back at them! Why do people go to comedy shows but then take the [...]

The jinxed trip started on Wednesday a 2.30pm [...]
One of their best possibilities, Troy Williams, of course ran for the hills after apparently being undermined by the Liberal Director, Andy Heath and Members of their parliamentary team. Of course there is no Richard Mulcahy – their great hope for the next election.
Sadly for the Liberal’s most of their ‘dead-wood’ sitting candidates are running [...]
