One new light show at the City Walk fountain and one less info booth in Garema Place

That big diamond looking fountain on City Walk has a new set of pretty colours to delight passers by. I have always had a bit of a soft spot for light shows, so I’m all for it.
Check it out in the video above.
The daily show rotates with colours depicting ‘rainbow’, fire and water.

Canberra Times fountain lighting up

Martyo came across the workers rigging the Canberra Times fountain for light last night and sent in a great set with this note:
had a chat to the guy setting up lights last night – first time every
this fountain has been lit (normally a dull orange color) – will be in-place for about 12 months

Why is the fountain nuclear green?
