Parking Milko style

By 1 March 2013

Damien has sent in a parking example worthy of its own post:
Putting the Tavern in Taverner…
If you’re going to try and get sideways on every corner when it rains then you should master the art of counter-steering first.
Corner of Drakeford and Taverner, Wanniassa.

Phillip Edwin Bailey still trying his luck

By 11 June 2010

Credit must go to the Canberra Times’ Jenna Hand for a truly entertaining court report.
Cook’s Phillip Bailey was trying to get off the Tuggeranong Parkway on 8 April when, possibly because he was carrying a blood alcohol level of .341, he missed the Lady Denman Drive turnoff:
According to a police statement of facts, the 33-year-old [...]

Between this intersection and the next one up (Starke Street) over the last 15 years I have lost count of how many accidents I have seen there.
Enough is enough, when are these [...]

Restrict young drivers

By 14 June 2008

In another tragic incident another young person has been killed on Canberra roads.
For the hard nuts out there put your wit into neutral and consider if it was your friend or a relative before you start typing. In my opinion learner and p-platers should be restricted the same way motorbike riders are. From [...]

Does anyone know what happened? or [...]
