The Canberra Times is reporting that a man has died in a car accident in Canberra overnight. ACT police said the accident involved one car and occurred about 3.30am on Yarra Glen road in the inner-southern suburb of Hughes.

As reported in the local media yesterday, here are a few photos of the bus that crashed into the front of Kippax shopping centre yesterday afternoon.
When I drove past tonight at about 5.30pm there were police everywhere and a large section of the road was detoured. When I drove back around 7 or so, they were all still there. No ambos that I could see.

I just saw this crash at Ainslie shops. Someone has managed to reverse their car into the beer garden out the front of Edgars. The angle of the car is pretty impressive. Fire brigade arrived and ambulance was on it’s way. I think someone had been knocked off their feet.
