Mrs C and I tried the Tuesday special 2 for 1 pizza deal at The Duxton at O’Connor Shops last night. She had an El Troppo on gluten free base and I had a Pepperoni on a regular base.

Heading out further afield from Civic the $10 lunch review has come across Duxton’s $10 lunch menu.
The choices were Margherita Pizza, Chicken Schnitty, Chicken Club Sandwich, Hamburger, or 300g steak.

As the gentlemen in high vis clobber swarmed over the stricken All Bar Nun to transform it into the fast approaching Duxton a curious thing happened to the iconic awning fronting Macpherson Street.

Out in Canberra are doing an omnibus burger deal with Canberra’s rugby bars.
And there we have the new bar in O’Connor being built in the body of All Bar Nun.
It’s going to be called “Duxton” which sounds a bit like a stableboy, but time will tell.
