Students evacuated from Lyneham High School following odour

Firefighters are currently on site at the Lyneham High School, Goodwin Street, Lyneham, investigating an odour believed to be smoke from the school hall.
No fire has been found, however approximately 1050 staff and students were evacuated as a precaution.
Staff and students have now been permitted to return.
Odour believed to be from a heater.

Truck and car collision at Narrabundah

Firefighters are currently on scene at Hindmarsh Drive and Jerrabomberra Ave, Narrabundah, following a truck and car collision.
Hydraulic rescue tools were used by ACT Fire & Rescue to free two patients from the car.

Water leak at Barton building

Firefighters have evacuated approximately 200 workers as a precaution from Pharmacy House, National Circuit and Brisbane Ave, Barton, following a water leak on the top floor.
