The Foreshore 2012 Music Festival wrapped up late last night (Saturday, November 24), with police acknowledging most attendees behaviour as responsible.
Six people were taken to the ACT Watchhouse and placed in protective custody. Police seized drugs from two patrons and a number of people were ejected from the event.

The Foreshore festival have mailed out starting details for this year’s big sales week for Parliament jeans:

ACT Policing praised the generally good behaviour of the 22,000 patrons at yesterday’s (Saturday, November 26) Foreshore 2011 Music Festival, held on the lawns of Old Parliament House.

Foreshore is calling for registrations to their talent comp for new bands to fill the stages with the stars.
Foreshore 2011 will see the likes of Armin Van Buuren, LMFAO and Salt-n-Pepa take to the stage performing for more than 10,000 people. Want to be up there with them? Here’s your chance!

With the Foreshore festival choosing to use iconic public locales there’s a legitimate public interest in the clean-up.
