I was up near Old Parliament house last week and saw some reverse graffiti on the pavement. Does anyone know who does this in Canberra? 
I think it would be great for an event that we are looking to promote.

The street artist ELK is perhaps best known nationally for provoking the Liberal MLA Steve Pratt into imploding his own career, as immortalised in the above Chaser segment from 2007.
If art is measured by the reaction it provokes then it puts him up there with Picasso and Guernica.

I saw this one on Thursday morning, adorning the wall of the construction site where the Greater Union cinema used to be.
It made me wonder two things…
1. What sort of specialised dolls would one bludge?
2. What sort of secrets would they know?

Someone’s been scrawling this on bits of urban infrastructure around town.

On the darker days I’ve found it something of a comfort to round a corner and take some advice.

Say what you like about Allawah Court, it seems to generate a better (or at least more lyrical) class of graffiti than the moronic tagging found in more well to do neighbourhoods.
