I am interested in people’s thoughts about the most dangerous stretch of road/s in Canberra. For me it is the Hindmarsh Drive section running from the hospital to the turn off to the tip on Mugga Way.
As a shift worker I drive this piece of road in complete darkness or dimly lit (depending on daylight saving) in the early hours [...]
Katy Gallagher met with the Mayor of Queanbeyan Tim Overall today in order to present the ACT’s Birthday gift to our favourite neighbor Queanbeyan.
It’s a lot of trees, like 1000 of them.
I hope Queanbeyan likes trees.
“To help celebrate Queanbeyan’s milestone birthday of 175 years and to commemorate the special relationship between our two cities, approximately [...]

So talking with an acquaintance who lives in Red Hill, I mentioned the fact that, en-route to pick him up.
I had the convenient pleasure of passing the first check point of the Average Speed Saftey Camera with full knowledge that I would be turning off at Mugga Way, hence not completing the average speed check.
Knowing that [...]
While not ignoring the plight of our northern bretheren, do the 3 major accidents on Hindmarsh Drive and Tuggeranong Parkway over the last 3 days indicate that the City Council’s busway from Civic to Gunners is somewhat misguided and missing the mark?
Surely a public transport service (bus, train, helicopter, whatever) that utilises seperate laneways from [...]

So I’m not quite sure what it means when TAMS says this on its website:
On Thursday 21 September 2010 the ACT Government announced that the ACT’s [...]
