ACT Policing has arrested a 21-year-old Isaacs man after he fled from a roadside police breath testing station early this morning (22 January).

A double garage in Isabella Plains has been completely destroyed by fire tonight.
ACT Fire & Rescue was alerted to the incident by multiple emergency triple zero (000) calls from 7:39pm.
Firefighters immediately responded with three fire pumpers and arrived to find the detached structure well alight.

ABC is reporting that there was a police standoff with a man in a vehicle on Isabella Dr.
It ended with the man shooting himself. He is now in Canberra Hospital.
