A family had a lucky escape this morning from a house fire in Kambah.
The residents were woken at 3:17 by a passer by who noticed their Cooke Street home was alight.
All five occupants safely self evacuated and raised the alarm.

$750,000 to make public toilets amazing

Construction begun today on a project that sadly isn’t called “Project Pleasant Pooping.”
Upgrades to public toilets at both Dickson and Kambah shops are underway, and the old toilets at Maryborough Street in Fyshwick are being completely demolished and replaced.
