The trusty GoPro did a great job but my new high tech ‘sweeping panorama’ hamburger timer let me down. Maybe next time.

Unexploded mortars found on Mount Ainslie

Sky News informs us that the extended search for explosives in the Mount Ainslie nature reserve has found four unexploded mortar bombs.
Defence said these items were found in the Canberra Nature Park on Mount Ainslie during a search for unexploded ordnance (UXO), old military ammunition fired but which failed to explode.

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are treating a 31-year-old male bushwalker for facial injuries on Mt Ainslie Drive, Ainslie.
Crews have reached the patient near the top of the lookout and will shortly transport the male to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
