On Sunday I, along with many others, attended the PhotoWalk held at the botanic gardens.
Was an excellent afternoon out, and plenty of wildlife on display, including a water dragon and brown snake, plus the usual stack of kangaroos, including a few very large males and some females with joeys in pouches.

…As if we needed a reason to be next to the lake at 7am, on an unseasonably pleasant (if you were wearing Damart gloves or your Granddad’s cardigan) Saturday morning.
We assembled to take part in a global Google+ 1st anniversary photowalk. The global nature of the event seems to have fizzled out before the sun [...]

I participated in the inaugural 2012 Google+ Photowalk held here in Canberra on Saturday morning. Canberra dawn, lake and balloons … It was an early start (7am at Regatta Point) but the day was an absolute cracker weather wise.
