This was the scene visitors the Tuggeranong Hyperdome carpark were confronted with yesterday afternoon: a burnt out car surrounded by cinders and police tape.
One of our readers sent the photo through via our Facebook page and we contacted ACT Policing to find out what happened.
A spokesman said investigations were ongoing.

ACT Policing and Tuggeranong Hyperdome are joining forces to prevent number plate theft with a free program this weekend, Project Safe Plate.
This Saturday (October 26) between 10am-2pm, motorists are encouraged to bring their vehicles to the Tuggeranong Hyperdome open air car park, off Reed Street North, where officers will fit vehicle plates with tamper-proof screws.

ACT Fire & Rescue has confirmed there is no fire at the Tuggeranong Hyperdome.
Staff and customers are now allowed back inside.

Some time ago, I drove into the Homeworld carpark to discover freshly painted arrows on the road. “Oh, they’ve made it one way. That’ll be easier” I thought. It was always a bit of a tight fit.

I happened across this development application for an extension of the Tuggeranong Hyperdome today which, amongst its extension plans confirms that Myer is closing it’s doors with a remodel of the layout will be replaced with a Big W and other smaller stores.

Two days ago you couldn’t walk into the Tuggeranong Hyperdome without being covered in cockroaches according to the Canberra Times.
Today they’d have us believe there’s no problem at all.
