The Cancer council are seeking donations for the Queanbeyan Relay for Life 2014.

On Saturday the 15th till Sunday the 17th of Feb thousands of people are going to be walking for 24 hours in order to raise money for cancer research.

If you or your business can help by donating a prize/gift voucher/pile of cash you probably should!

Cancer is a crappy awful thing, and the Cancer Council NSW managed to raise over 16 million last year to put towards fighting it.

Wouldn’t it be nice if they did even better this year?

We are looking for local businesses to donate prizes, gift cards and/or food items for the event.

The prizes will serve as incentives for participants to keep on walking, reward those who have raised the most money in the fight against cancer and participants that have come up with the most novel way to promote to others cancer smart lifestyles, thereby reducing their risk of developing cancer.

We will recognise your company throughout the event via program acknowledgement and MC announcements. Why not join in the fun and put a team in? OR if you know a cancer survivor, then ask them to come along to participate in the survivors opening lap. An occasion they will never forget.

We’ve all been touched by cancer in some way. Now is your chance to make a donation in the name of someone you know who has been affected by cancer. Please help make this event a success. If you’d like to donate a good or service then please contact me on 0419 161 974 or via email: qbn.rfl@gmail.com
