Thats not just ‘some old movie’, its from the 1932 movie “Freaks”, originally banned in Australia for a while, banned in the UK until the mid 1960s, and never actually unbanned in the US.
The scene in that footage are from the wedding scene, where one of the norms (Cleopatra, wearing the earrings) marries Hans the midget (smiling ‘kid’ in a tuxedo) for his large inheritance. She slowly poisons him for his money and plans to run off with the circus strongman (Hercules), but the rest of the freaks take revenge on Cleopatra and Hercules,
Together they castrate Hercules, cutting out her tongue, one eye, her legs, and she is forced to join the freakshow as the “Imbecile Sqwuaking Chicken Lady” to eke out a living.
It killed the career of its director, who eventually became a recluse, dying in a friend’s bathroom at the age of 80.
Not a movie for the children.
