The one things the Raiders are consistent at? Beating St George

Foxsports has the story of the ongoing lime green torture of the dragons:

CANBERRA captain Terry Campese glanced down at his mobile phone on Saturday and smiled to himself, knowing that one of the most remarkable hoodoos in the game wasn’t about to be broken.

Remaining unbeaten against St George Illawarra since 2007 with a gutsy win in Wollongong last night, the Raiders notched their ninth consecutive win over the famous Red-V.

It’s such a damning curse that Dragons coach Steve Price could consider naming a voodoo doll on his bench when the two teams meet next.

The score was 18 to 22.

We travelled up for the game and say what you want about Canberra Stadium, it is a helluva lot better than WIN stadium. That place is a dive.

I love Canberra Stadium, the design, the curves, the colours, the light. So it’s a bit cold and wet in winter, would it not be better to straighten the bowl at pitch level then put a freestanding clear roof over it, retaining the architectural merit ?
I keep looking at the Otago stadium and thinking it looks like a lego stadium, the world is full of these characterless hangers that could double up as battery chicken farms.
