The National Capital Authority is proposing an amendment to the National Capital Plan to change the recognised land use of Westridge House (Block 6, Section 4 Yarralumla), from ‘Community Facility’ to ‘Single Dwelling Residential’.

I think that the conditions of sale included a presumption and acceptance by the NCA that the lease could be changed to a private dwelling, so no surprises there.

How long before some of the good old boys money changes hands and the block is re-zoned to something more investment-friendly? Anyone care to take a 10 year bet?

Only a question of how many floors the block of flats will have. I bet 10 or more.
