This has come to me and sounds interesting:

The Real & Ideal is an exhibition conceived by two emerging Canberra curators, Katrina Osborne & Grace Carroll. Inspired by their shared desire to facilitate creativity and promote talent, a medium was chosen – photography and video art; a gallery was found – M16 Artspace; and the dream became reality.

This group exhibition showcases photography and video art that explores the tension between lived experience and the imaginative faculty. The work of each artist is autonomous, yet also, united by its exploration of the poignancy of people and spaces – be they natural or constructed – and expresses an awareness that the self must exist within the confines of space. The Real & Ideal presents alternative, thought-provoking perspectives on this universal human condition.

Artists: Samantha Small – Alexander Bell Moffatt – Amy McGregor – Natalie Azzopardi – Katherine Griffiths – Johnny Milner

Dates – 8 – 25 March @ M16 in Griffith
